Located in the eclectic town of UNESCO World Heritage Site Shantiniketon, cuddled in an idyllic surrounding of vast paddy fields and Santali villages, overlooking the Kopai river, this would be your home away from home. Informal and comfortable, the natural architecture of Teera gives you lots of cozy corners to introspect, relax, create and rejuvenate.

You sleep like a baby in the earthy rooms of Teera. It takes you closer to nature without compromising on modern comforts. The views, both inside & out, are serene to clam you & take your worries away

We serve our guests healthy & sumptuous set-menu Breakfast-spread on the house.

We don't conduct any tours or trips. However, we can suggest and/or organize local trips & tours based on guest requirements
Garden
The green patch we created is our source of organic fresh veges that we serve to our guests.
Intimate Performing Space
We have a cute little space for the performers. Even the eminent perform on the same platform.
Daily Housekeeping
Staying clean is a serious business for us. We don't compromise on cleaning and organizing rooms daily.
Lunch & Dining Service

We don't run a restaurant. But we provide our guests with fixed menu Lunch & Dinner if informed prior.

THINGS TO DO
Walk to Kopai River
Nostalgic river Kopai from childhood poetry flows close by. A walk towards its bank through the paddy fields and vegetable patches is both refreshing & enthralling.
Visva-Bharati University

UNESCO World Heritage site of Shantiniketan and the University founded by Noble Laureate Rabindranath is close (within 5 km) and undeniably the place to explore.
Visit Sonajhurir Haat
A place created by local artists where the artisans can meet their customers face to face. Less than 10 mins walk from the property, the place is heaven for all local artifacts.
Cultural Activities
Reading, Music, Natural dye printing, Pottery, Theatre, you name it and you have the option to pursue it by masters of those field.
Kala Bhavan
The Arts Department of Shantiniketan, is a museum by itself. Lots of legendary and even contemporary work can be viewed and a definite place to explore.
Surul Rajbari
Less than 5 km away from the property is a nearby village famous for the presence of its Rajbari (a Zamindar House). The old architecture, Terracotta temples and the show-stopper being the 250+ years old Durga Puja.
